LMAO, I really need to get that video up!

Good luck Ben. I guess thats why you called me :p

Nope, no tires got ripped off today.

Here's a pix of the perfect trail fix for anyone that happens to break a torsion bar. We took my hub socket and "extended" the bumpstop to "fix" Ben's truck. We had to drop the swaybar and the shock to get it in, but it held firm all the way out of the park.

He was actually sitting still on the trail when it broke. We were behind him and heard a "pop" (like a Lock-Rite releasing). My first thought was "When did Ben put a lock-rite in? Then we noticed the front of the truck was sagging. Ben has some pix of the broken bar, and it looks like it was caused by accumulated damage. You can see evidence of an existing crack that just finally let go.

As for fixing it, that's the easy part. Just put a new torsion bar in. Ben was headed to the junkyard this morning for another bar. It's a 30 minute job if you have a 2 jaw puller.

Weird....Yet cool that it broke when it did! I want to see the pics when he gets home.

I'll be posting pics in a bit. Just got home.. Have to shower and unpack the camera & laptop.

I had to go lay under mine today and see where you had the socket. I just had to know. LOL Anticipating pics when he gets time.

Just something to tease you while I shower..

BTW what spring rate was that torsion bar?

Obviously not strong enough.. :D I'll check later once I finish unpacking and cleaning. Then again someone did break into my truck today while I was out shopping for computer parts at the CompUSA near me. atleast I didn't have too much stuff in it or I'd be screwed like a sheep.
