I broke one of my front ABS sensors while removing it to replace the ball joints. I called the dealer and they want $166 (list) for it, so I found it a lot cheaper online.
Is it alright just to drive without it working (I'm assuming the ABS light will come on, and disable the ABS since it doesn't have a sensor)? Or do I need to diable the ABS until the new part arrives and its fixed? I need the speedometer, so I can't pull that fuse which its supposed to be on. Thanks

You can drive with it off. When the ABS system detects a fault, it reverts to a standard braking mode.
