Cleaned the iac
retorqued the intake bolts
The truck is still doing the same thing
Its been -35 here for the last few weeks and It runs like a champ when its cold.
Now when its warm thats another story It will almost feel as if its missing when its in drive when its in park i can tell the flucuating RPM's its really bothering me.
I have looked at all obvious vacum line and nothing?
i really dont want to take it to the mechanic

You have discovered the idle bounce for our vehicles. Grats!

LOL. Could be one of like 10 diff things.

Do a vac line test. spray carb cleaner around the lines you just moved and replaced. if the idle clears, you've found your problem.

Don't forget to spray some near the EGR return into the intake, that SOB works lose all the time for me.

My guess? Intake Mani Gasket is cracked and leaking since you were just fiddling in that area.

Upper and lower intake gaskets are new also.
my old explorer did the same thing but would actully stall.

Alright guys any Ideas? Its been warming up here big time, and now the truck is running like crap. Idle keeps going up and down and sometimes when in drive it feels like a misfire and the rpms drop real quick but im not sure.
No check engine light plus are new and wires are new also. should i just get it taken in for a vacum test ?
