Anybody who could describe how a bubble wheel balancer works. I would really like to have my own wheel balancer in my garage and this bubble seems to be the cheapest that I know but how does it work? Is it accurate as the computerized balancer? Anybody has an experience with this balancer?:hammer:

A bubble balancer works using gravity. It has a gimballed circular bubble level in the center, and when you place the wheel on it, it will tip towards the side of the wheel that is heavier. You just add your lead weights to the opposite side until it reads level.

The bubble balancer is not as accurate as the computerized balancer, although you can get it pretty close. The computerized balancer does a dynamic rotation test vs. the static bubble test. It can provide info on which side (Inner or outer side of the rim) of the tire is out of balance. The bubble level can't do that.

If you are intrested in a Bubble wheel Banancer, I have an old one that might be for sale if the price is right! LEt me know. I can ship it to you or we could meet each other half way seeing your in NY, and im in MA.
