Kudos to you for all the hard work that you have done.. But eletrical tape is a no no in the car audio biz. A trick I use is on 0 -4 guage is on the end melt some solder on the end as it will make a better connection and look better as it will not show the frayed ends. I would pressure wash the engine compartment before I start any job as all the dirt will get all over you and loook like crap when you complete the job. Use heat shrink that you melt with a mini torch on all connections it will make you look like a pro. Good luck and keep up the hard work!

All the ring terminals are soldered and crimped. The only reason they are electrical taped is to hide my terrible soldering job. Had a terrible soldering gun.
