We'll see how lucky I really am. While perusing craigslist for some parts, I came across a 93 Sport with 130k miles on it. Sounds like it has some rust, but looks pretty decent. Asking $900. Been trying to get ahold of them for about a day and a half now, so far no luck.
We'll see what happens. Wish me luck.

Good luck. I bought my 93 sport for $800 in Oklahoma, this was for a 4wd 5 speed manual hub rig. My truck spent three years in Pennsylvania, so I have minor rust issues to contend with. I did swap out the electric transfer case for a manual one.

This one is a 93 sport, 130k miles, auto trans/transfer case and hubs. It says it has a factory tow package (didn't know they put one of those on the ex) that includes a receiver hitch, trans cooler, and steeper rear end. Looks pretty good, though maybe a little bit of rust. If I can get the owners to call me back I'll go make a deal on it. If it's nice enough, I may just keep that one and sell my '93 XLT.
