Buzzing sound / Car shut off

So when I get out of the car after shutting off, I hear a very load buzzing sound from outside the vehicle. However once I lock the door and shut it it immediately stops. Does not do this all the time, but often. Any ideas? I tried walking around to track from where, but can't seem to locate where exactly it is coming from.

Does your horn work properly?

No it does not. I once had it converted to right hand drive for the ex to deliver mail in, Converted it back and horn has not worked.

are you think Anti-theft and horn is just not going off?

The anti-theft can honk the horn. Locking the car enables the anti-theft. I'm just thinking in fragments right now, but a bad horn can sound like a loud buzz.

I will def check that out when it does it again, and look at the dash to see if the anti-theft light is on when it is happening.

Modified wiring really makes troubleshooting to a point very difficult.

You may end up rewiring around the existing circuit. Anyway, yeah more clues would be great. Good Luck!

I didn't redo any wiring. I just may not have a good connection with the horn. However I took five at work and ran out there and set the panic alarm off. No buzzing sound just a clicking sound. I will dig deeper and get more ears to try to locate where exactly it is coming from to help pin point it.

Tracked the sound to underneath at the fuel tank. I can put my hand on it and feel the vibration. So thinking it is fuel pump. I banged the tank with my hand and it stopped. So thinking locking doors and shutting them had nothing to do with it except the jarring caused the buzzing to stop. I will dig into it deeper this weekend to get 100% confirmation.
