This is How I roll A LIMITED! PS I ROLL THIS WAY YEAR AROUND! SNOW AND ALL AND ITS DOING GREAT.
I need a set of the factory limited wheels if anyone has any. I have a grand cherokee limited I threw mine on when I sold it, and I regret it ever since. Just the 1999-2001 Limited wheels please! One thing I hate is that everywhere I go people say NICE ESCALADE! I am dumbfounded. I guess that is a compliment? ALthough they buy their vehicle for $50k stock to look like that, and I paid 14k in 2003 with 25k miles, and put maybe $2500 in it so far. Looks better everyday. My aunt asked if it was a brand new model. My goal was to make a custom explorer, that could have rolled off the showroom floor. nothing Gawdy or anything that stands out to much. Cops dont harass me in this. EVER. I thought they would because of the 20's. THey must assume I am a rich yuppie.
projectors came out of a BMW X5 and was home assembled. the motor and shutter were removed to allow fitment in the explorer housing. I have since sold those projectors and have black headlight and corner lens anssemblies now.
I miss the projector "cut off line" I had and will be retro-fitting a set of projectors into the black assemblies after the holidays
lower valance on the front of my truck is stock. It came with my 2000 Limited.
Only parts in the front of my truck that got changed were the headlight/corner assemblies and the projector fog lights. I didn't do a mesh grille or do anything for body changes (parts from a kit or anything)
I thought they all came with the little lip in the front like mine...
the overhead screen in my limited is mounted just behind the sunroof. I didn't relocate the dome light or anything. I just had to make sure that I had cleared the sunroof assembly inside the roof when mounting the screen to prevent the sunroof from hitting the mounting bracket.
I have full use of my sunroof and all my dome lights.
Not sure why some limiteds came withthe lower valance and some didn't. To be honest I never noticed a difference until you pointed it out yesterday
