Can they be white?

I got my clears corners and headlights in today and I just hate to put those ugly yellowish/orange parking, and turn bulbs back in there. I went to autozone and found white in the same size. I didn't get them cause I wanna ask around first. But Can I just have white turns, and white parking lights. My Wifes saturn has them in them but i don't know if they're stock or aftermarket. I understand about the turn signals being colored but it just looks horrible to me.

Are you asking what the legal light colors are in the US?

Red=Break.
Orange=Turn Signal & Hazard front and back.
Clear/White=Front/Head light Rear/Backup light.

Anything else will get you a ticket.
If a lens is broken, the ticket in Illinois anyway is not considered a moving violation. If the vehicle is modified to change marker light colors you will get two tickets. One for the light itself and one for the illegal modification.

you could buy LED lights, when turned off they appear clear/white but when lit shine amber. most parts stores have/ or can order them

how hard is it to tell the difference when you put on your turn signal?

Also if any other color is illegal on my wife's saturn hers are that way and I am pretty sure they are stock she got it from the dealership and her tail turns are also white.

There is a light/dark difference with the turn signal and parking light.

I think you can see it better than the amber ones

I like the look of my Silverstar bulbs in the directionals and there is a 4-led 194 bulb at Autozone I got for the little lights in the upper corners.

i didnt like the led 194s, they shined yellow.. and didnt project light, so i went back to an amber 194 incandescent

they make a silver bulb that lights up amber

i have the silverstar 3157s in the front, and just a 194 amber in the corners now. it doesnt matter anyway, the bottom lense yellowed out, i need to take it apart, clean the inside of the lense, and paint the inside of the housing
