Man this gets so confusing. Here's my delimma. Beside's the "Pull to the right" I'm haveing probelems with my
33 X 12.5's mounted on a 15 X 10 rim, rubbing on the passenger side just barely on a locked hard right turn. It seems that depending on the Caster setting that I can clear the wheel well.

My specs were;
Front Left = 1.4
Front Right = 2.0

No rubbing but a pull to the right.

Now;
Front Left = 1.7
Front Right = 3.2

Pull to the left, and rubbing on the front right.

The Ford Dealership mechanic ( Nice guy, we'll call him Kevin )said that all the Explorers he sees pull to the right and you need to increase the split to fix that. We'll I think he overfixed the problem. The split is now 1.5.

The big question now. Is it "OK" to have the Caster set as positive as possible. 2.0 or less? It seems that it would affect steering responsiveness somewhat. I'm more concerned about clearance in the wheel wells. So I want the upper balljoint moved as far forward ( posative ) as possible. Anyone else running this much + caster? Remember, I'm lifted 5.5", no body lift, and 33 X 12.5's and wanting to go bigger ( 36 or 38 ) and wider someday.

Thanks
