I am in the process of downloading mine to the internet right now, I'll put em up when they are ready. To those that didn't go, especially those from colorado with no good excuses, you really missed a great time. Itw as a perfect blend of challenging trails as well as fun easier trails, and we had a great time as usual showing all the new explorer owners what they could do. A few notes to a few people:
- Gerald - Thanks for putting it together, I'd say it was a huge success and I'm definately glad I went.
- Sinjin - what's the deal man, you missed the light competition sunday night! I won of course... LOL
- mmpc and explorerauthoritygal - hope you got to see all that your Explorer lease vehicles could do on some more challenging trails
- Scott Bosso - thanks for driving all the way out, that's quite a treck :).
- Rick - thanks for picking Colorado over the Rubicon, hope it was worth its while and I hope you and char had fun.
- Char - IM NOT WARNING YOU AGAIN WOMAN!!! BACK OFF!!!
- to everyone who made fun of me on the way back from Lake City... :p
- Tom - way to go not tipping this time! :) j/k,thanks for the use of the pump.
-to everyone else - hope you all had a fun trip, I know I did. I will be posting the pics shortly... It ook about 100 so I need to sort through them, resize them appropriately, and upload them to the internet.

dead link theres the link to the pics, I shrunk all of them to make them faster to come up, hopefully they will still look good :).

Just got back...

I'll unpack later, wanted to check the boards first (have to get your priorities straight ;)). I'll second Matt's kudos to Gerald and Wabbit for the impeccable organization of CCR2000. I had a great time and couldn't have wished for a better group of people to wheel with! :)

More to come later (especially pics), right now I'd better start the unpacking process if I hope to get to bed tonight! For those still up there, wheel on and have a safe return trip...

I got back 5 hours ago. I didn't have time to get on the board until now. I am also in the process of putting pics up. I should have them all ready in an hour or so. I had an excellent time. Gerald and others who helped organize CCR 2000: I would like to say thank you! I really got alot more confidence in my Explorer after the "Honking Tourist" obstacle.

Hey, good to see that people are getting back in one piece!!! I hope everyone had a great time. I can guarantee that I will be on the next colors run. :)

Pics look great so far. The scenery, Rick's truck (I trust that all the quirks got straightened out), everything. Man, I wish I could have made it....

Posters anyone?!

Overall, I did not get as many action shots as I would have liked this weekend. Guess I was too busy driving. We had a great time and the trails offered different challenges to all drivers. And believe me, these trails were challenging to passengers as well...
Beyond the technical obstacles, just the feeling of getting in your Explorer and being able to drive to what seems like the top of the world is exhilirating!
Also, this album includes a pic of the Explorer we came across that had two flats at one time. Yup, Firestone...
The guy was reluctant to accept our help at first. He was busy getting ready to change the front tire and he didn't realize the rear was flat also.
He was a little freaked about the "gang" of Explorers converging on him. A special thanks to Dennis and Lisa Myers for offering their spare. It took a bit of convincing for the guy to accept it. We finally got him going and gave him one of Rick's business cards. He took a group picture of us and we were on our way...

WOW what a great weekend! Gerald, you did a great job of organizing the run everything worked out great.

The photos I've seen so far look awesome. Everyone did a great job. The videos were really cool to watch at the KOA.

Here are a few shots that I took.

This is a shot of Gerald climbing an obstacle on Poughkeepsie (sp?) trail.

Uh Oh, Rick's back. Better hide the beer!!!

Heh Heh, welcome back. All the pics I've seen so far look good. It looks like the main web site has slowed down to a crawl, so Rick's pics will have to wait. I'll view them later.

geez I must've been hiding fromt he cameras this weekend or something, LOL.

GREAT WEEKEND!!

We would like to get our 2 cents in on the trip.

First of all this was our first trip we have done with a group like this so we didn't know what to expect. We showed up Friday in time for the pot luck and to meet everyone. When we got back to the KOA Kabin, I told Teri I knew we would have a good time. I never expected we would have as much fun as we did. For those who didn't go, you missed a GREAT time.
We would like to thank Rick and Char for the opportunity for us to be part of a great group, and thanks for choicing CCR2000 run.
We would like to thank Gerrald for getting everything together including the meal Saturday at the restaurant.
For all the good spotting on the tuff parts. Yes I thought they were tuff, just because the big dawgs didn't think they were all that bad.
I can't believe how people helped out when someone had trouble and how well everything went with such a big group. It would have been nice if some of the late comers could have gone the first day (KELLY). You would have loved Black Bear. I guess it will give you an excuse to go back.
Our family learned a lot about what we need to take on our next trip, and do such things as airing down the tires. What a better ride.
We also need to go back to the drawing board on some things and by the way, my tire rack, after looking at it, we found one of the welds on the support brackets broke, so we will still work on the idea of having the rack on the stock bumper.
We hope to be able to do the next run in Moab.
With good spotters we learned we can go places I didn't think were possible. We can now say we have a

PURPLE JEEP EATER !!!!

Glad we met everyone, you are a bunch of GREAT PEOPLE...........THANKS!!!!

Perry, Teri, and Patrick

I added more pics

I used my video capture card and got some great pics off of my video. Matt and Rod I have some good pics of your rigs up on the site. They are at dead link I had an extremely fun filled weekend with you all and I will be looking foward to seeing you guys and gals again at another run (Moab, La Bajada, Farmington, Texas Slab?)

Hey, Rick, in your pic of Rob GoFast on the mud hill, is that purple truck part of the group, and (more importantly) is it a Ranger?:D

Ranger X yes it is a Ranger

Ranger X, yup it is a Ranger. It is red in color with front and back lockers, lift, etc. He is not on the board, yet. His brother is RobbieJ and they came up with his Explorer and the Ranger.

Looks like you all had a great time. I'm sorry I missed this one, especially since the Ouray area is one of my favorites. Oh well, the memories from last year's run just have to suffice. :(
The pictures are great. Thanks to everybody for posting.
