Sorry about beating this horse again but I did the search & all the info was on the V6's.

Just ordered Bosch +4's & Jacobs wires. I have read all the horror stories about this job and am wondering if it's easier/harder with the V8.

Any advice and info on any special tools any of you have tried would be appreciated.

Thanks,

John Olson

I was looking at my engine the other day and saw that the only problem would be with the passenger side rear plug. It seems to be a project to get to that 1 plug. All the other plugs are easy. U might have to remove some engine components to get to that plug and use a swivel socket. Thats the best i can do, hope it helps

I just changed my plugs the other day on my '98, and the easiest way I found was to access all the plugs via the wheel wells. All you have to do is pull away the rubber skirt in the wheel well, and its pretty much a straight shot to all the plugs. It sure as hell beats hanging over the fenders, and taking the chance on accidentally disconnnecting something while trying to manuever in the engine compartment. Good luck.
