Alright, met a guy at school with a Jeep and he wants to head out there, next weekend hes going home to Iowa to install a body lift, his 32's, and make a snorkel. Then i think he's gearing it and we are going to go, probably within the next month.

Alright Bigman on here keeps bugging me about when were going back, he's got a friend with a TJ on 33's, a quad or two, possibly his bronco and some other ones.

If anyone wants to go we are planning on April 19th.

Can i get a mod to change title to "Cliffs April 19th" please?

Bump

i'm potentially in. as long as my g/f can get the day off. otherwise i'm saving money. but i'd like to get out and let her drive the truck while its still stockish.

Sounds good. We finally got my windows working so i can't wait to get out there.

very nice. chances are it is going to be sloppy out there with all the rain recently. should be pretty interesting.

Oh very, i checked the weather this morning and its supposed to rain from like this thursday untill next tuesday. So it should make things "entertaining" to say the least.

My friend just orderd a 4 inch lift for his 93 Sport and he has my old rims & tires so we'll see if we can't get that on this weekend.... He wants to try it in 2wd but with this much rain i'm going to make him do the 4x4 swap.

Yup...we'll he could play around up in the flatlands on the jumps and down in the creek. But as for the actual trails, he'd go no where.

why is bigman not coming in his bronco?
and did you get your cb working yet?

Well, the axle came lose and broke the slip yoke on the driveshaft, one of his wedges for his lift blocks broke and he might have grenaded his t-case. Not to mention it's kinda uhh BIG for cliffs, he could make it through the trails no problem, the problem would be height and turning radius.

Honestly, i forgot all about my cb i'll play around with it this weekend.

No more EF members want to go? We got alot of jeeps goin....

WELLL it turned out to just be me, the tj on 33's, bigman on a quad and another of our friends on one (plus 2 passengers). Turned out to be a beautfiul day, will have pics such up in a lil while.

It was super slick/mucky out there. And i'm not a big jeep guy at all (obviously) but there were some crazy cool jeeps there.

Alright, here Bigman tried cutting across some truck ruts, had to have the TJ pull him out.

As for the Jeeps i was talking about, well long story short. I had to pull the TJ out of a mudhole scroll down and watch the video) Then after i got him out i almost ended up stuck but somehow wiggled my way out and overheated. Then the TJ blew his main seal. So while we waited for things to cool off this Monster Jeep came by. With coils in the rear and leafs up front...

The rest are pretty much just misc pics, including me sitting in water about 4 inches from my door. I didn't get many pics because i was trying not to smack trees (only did my classic back up into one.) Interesting enough though, Bigman backed the quad into my tailgate putting a nice crease across it.

Videos still to come, and i need to get ahold of video/pics from the 2 riders, they had an ATI ramp there (i think it was 30 degrees) i made it a good chunk of the way up it.
