I recieved a P0743 TCC Electrical , checked all connectors, replaced the TCC solenoid, new fluid and filter and still the same. Also cleaned the IAC. I'm lost truck runs fine but will not lock up. If I accelerate slow everything is good if I hit the gas front a dead stop it gerks forward and stalls.

Where is that located, would throw a code like that

It is located on the throttle body. If it's output is a bit too high or erratic, the torque converter will not lock.
Undernormal cicumstances, when the gas pedal is depressed the torque converter unlocks to allow acceleration,
the TPS is the device which signals the transmission based upon the throttle amount---

Just throwing it out there.

Ok what does it look like can I test it some how.

What has got me stumped is that 3 days before I got is TCC code, I replaced both down stream 02 sensors.??????

Open loop & torque converter

What has got me stumped is that 3 days before I got is TCC code, I replaced both down stream 02 sensors.??????

I seem to recall that someone on this forum informed me that the torque converter would not lock when the PCM is running open loop. Are you sure that the O2 sensors you replaced are functional?

Oh, the wiring for the rear 02 sensors is right near the transmission harness connector--wonder if you may have broken a wire, or, maybe pulled a pin loose from the connector. It isn't difficult to do up there--
Check also the routing of the harnesses, it is also easy to leave one hanging against the exhaust

Removing the center console will give great access to the wiring for the sensors and transmission.

Thanks guys I don't know what else it could be, if I disconnect the 02 sensors I put in would that make a differance, also the big mass connector for the tranny , how does that pull apart??????
