Char just told me that she saw a post about having dinner at our campsite. We better check on that before it's written in stone. I know other RV parks haven't been very good about having parties with unregistered guests on their grounds .

We're heading to the park today so we'll see what we can do. If you don't hear back from me well, that means there's no Internet access.

I was half kidding about that.
Seriously though, if it could be done, that would be cool.

If you are arriving Saturday AM, meet at 8:30 at the safeway in Leadville for the stocker run. If not then we will be around later that afternoon but I dont know where.

I just got off the phone with Rick. He is not for sure if he is going to make it to the run on Friday, apparently from Leadville its like a two-hour drive? I guess I didn't look at the map, but is anyone else staying in Leadville? Rick wasn't sure.

I saw where the trails were and moved my reservations to Breck. Almost got the truck loaded and will be about midnight, be there around 1 or 2 pm. See ya

Wow, I may have actually got the BII running perfect tonight.
I will be testing it next couple days, I might show up Sat morn at HC....we shall see..

I had some "wiring issues" with the trans...been battling it for a few days....

fingers crossed! I have been back and forth about coming, she might be ready...

I will leave Fri evening from Aurora and plan to be in the leadville area around 11 pm or so... still have no idea where I will stay/camp/sleep... my buddies bailed on the trip too busy with school and stuff anyone know where to free-camp, or at least a sanctuary to sleep a bit before Sat morning stocker run? I'm trying to save $$ and not hotel-it this time.

Matt, Rick thought where was 2 hours from Leadville? HC? Shouldn't be nearly that far but the Gazzeteer is misleading with roads and stuff.

I'm leaving early saturday morning, but can't say the exact time. So how far is leadville from dillon or even silverthorn, I have no idea where I'm gonna stay either.

yes I did... I called him and he was at the medical center in Leadville with Char. They will not be making the run. He didn't tell me if he was going back to AZ, but he told me that they weren't going to make it.

Ryan, Saturday I'll be up in the Leadville area, but if you guys don't do anything, I'll probably just come back early and rest up for the day, but I already told the girlfriend we were going to the mountains so we are kinda committed. alrighty we might just do it near the trailhead, (I'll be pulling the trailer with my explorer with the grill on it from Alma to Leadville), so wherever I put the trailer I think we should do it there

So I still have to spray paint my rear bumper (unfortunately I didnt finish the tire carrier part), rig my license plate and a light back on, pack and get the gear in the Explorer.

I got some intel that Camp Hale has camping (although it's a ways N. outside Leadville)... so if anyone gets stuck for a place they might find room there... heard it's popular with quadrunner campers from some Army guys at work.

I'm stoked... see you or speak with ya soon... If you see a White Sport Trac with sliders up in Leadville area wandering aimlessly.. get my attention!!
