I have a 2005 explorer and need to convert a 4 pin harness to a 7 pin to tow my trailer. Any ideas?

I believe that you would have the wiring for the seven-pin connector up along the passenger side, up into the passenger taillight gutter (I think that the actual connector is just below the taillight). Should be as simple as unbolting the 4-pin one, disconnecting the wiring, and hooking up the new one.

they sell them at wally world, but it sounds like you also need brake actuator, you can run the wires under the drivers' side molding and out next to the rear tail-light, a coat hanger works well for pulling wires into the rear jack compartment if you go that way.
