courtesy lights not lighting anymore

when I first got my 01 Expy...by the way, Hi- I am Chaz and I am new... The side mirros had lights on them that lit when I unlocked the truck. Now they dont light...whats happened? did I change a code or something?

I am also still trying to figure out the keyless entry. can it do more than unlock and lock?

any help would be appriciated

There is a thumbwheel switch that controls the cluster illumination, and dome lights-next to the headlight switch
is it switched off? This will kill the puddle lights--

it is switched so the interior light are out and the dash is bright...its not in the ON position, thus making the interior lights be on..

is that what you mean?
