I've finally gotten rid of all my codes, except for the CM 214. The camshaft position sensor. It's not making any noise, so I thought I'd try to just replace the sensor itself, not the whole assembly. Now I grabbed one off an X at the junk yard, which worked out great because the upper intake was already off. Does anyone know if there's a way to swap out the sensor, without pulling the upper intake off? Also, is there a way to test it with a multi meter? I disconnected it and it made no difference in how the truck runs.
