Hi I'm J, Ummmmmm..... I started readin this site a while back. Found out about it from #################. But i signed up, i'm excited.

That's great J, so are you saying you are signing up for this trip? If so do you have a 4wd vehicle you are brining?

Well sign me up. What is the actual date? I may have a trip coming up during that time but nothing firm yet, but could be last minute. Other than that I'm in as long as my truck stays together. So far in the past month, I have broke a crankshaft damper, radiator(damper bolt shot into it), replaced 4 bad ball joints, and Saturday the a/c compressor pulley separated from the hub. I am now running with a belt that was made for an explorer with no a/c. Other than that she runs great.

Looks like we'll have the most trucks if we do it last weekend. I hate to leave people out, but that happens. I'm good any weekend except the second one in Jan, so if we can get some posts from everyone on what days for sure, we can really get this set in stone.

What? The balljoints only had 236,000 miles on them. Apparently the newer motors(98 and up OHV) have had problems with the front of the crankshaft breaking off. I have a 2000 motor in mine. I think I got lucky and the damper broke instead.

Yea i have a 1991 explorer sport, its basically stock, it is 4wd. I just put 31's on it, hopefully gonna lock the axles soon. if anyone wants to see pics hit me on aim Jayblizzo187. But yea i'm excited.
