howcome you never see a sas on a 02' and above? i know they have front and rear independent suspension but that never got in the way of sasing the 2gens with IFS

Hey guys. I've got some issues. I need to talk to someone about the abs. I have no clue what to do with it. Like yes it is good to have sometimes, But other times no. So the Ideal way to have it for me, is have a switch so i can simply turn it on when i want it and off when i don't. I know its very possible, my i bought a kit from Cobb Tuning for my STI. But no one sales a kit for an 2002 explorer. So i need to make one. Any suggestions?

I'm going to guess, rear frame design?

yea but that doesnt change the fact that u can drop the axle far away enough and make welds on the frame for leaf spring shackles... thats wut hes saying

Its do-able. But its a lot of work and cost. At that point, you might as well buy another vehicle that has at least one solid axle so you'd only have to do one. Or better yet, buy a vehicle with two solid axles and just lift it.

What? You're worried about ABS? Post up some pics first and we'll see what to do with the ABS :D
