I am almost done with everything getting it all ready for the SAS build in March. I really want to run a CV rear shaft but I can't find anywhere or anybody that has or can get a CV style slip yoke for the 28 spline T-Case. I think I remember in doing my research for the 4406 swap that some of the expeditions with the air ride had a CV from the factory?

Anyone know of anything let me know, its about the last thing that I have to figure out! :)

You could have your current shaft sent to a driveline shop and have it converted to the CV style.

I have called lots of shops including big expensive driveline shops. None have a rear slip yoke designed for a CV. I guess they ate different from the standard slip yoke I currently have.

You are right when I was searching for a Expedition shaft when I had the 4406 in the Merc I found a couple Expeditions with the Double Cardan slip yoke shafts. They are too short so you will have to have it lengthened. But if you want I keep an eye for you if you still need one.

if you find two of them, let me know as well please!!!!

I had 2 of them. One came from a 98 F150 Reg cab short bed, 4.6, 5spd, 4406 truck. if that helps.
