dana 35 on 94 ex?

the stock front axle for a 94 explorer is a dana 35 right?

trying to price some 4.10's and just want to be sure.

and what kind of transfer case does it come with (and whats its low ratio?)

last i heard you were going to sell it???
did you resolve your motor problem??? are you going to put 4.10's front and rear at the same time...(about a grand)???.. if not, you have to disconect your 4x4 and/or drive shaft...

meh, i dunno. i change my mind a lot.

a grand? 4 wheel parts says it should be about 200 for the rear, http://www.4wheelparts.com/ppt5455t5092.aspx

is that not what i need?

i just wanted to know the t-case ratio because i was playing with a crawl ratio thing.

if you only do the rear you will be 4x2....yes, the gears are about 200 plus but look into getting a proper install price, about 250-300...the grand was for both front and rear...if they aren't installed properly they will be shot in a hurry...
with only 4x2 you won't be using the t/c anymore till you regear the front...

...i didn't know or remember it was broke...i bet it's as simple as the t/c motor fix...there is a sticky on the fix...i did mine with the expertise of a guy who does it regular...i left it up to him for the final set..it's one thing you don't want to learn you did something wrong on,lol...
...btw, when are you leaving for youe t.o.d.???

yea, i was gonna try the shift motor rebuild and get a bigger maf housing today, but my mom decided it would be more fun to lead me down with chores on my day off. maybe tomorrow ill give it a shot again.
