dashboard + overhead lighting?

My battery gauge dashboard light, and my cruise control light went out on my 98 explorer. And honestly i am putting alot of money into my explorer i am currently putting in another engine and fixing some rust spots of body and since im doing this i just wanna make it look cool and just some changes on the inside. The current lights are green on it but it has a blue interior a guy i know has a car and he changed his lights on his and i was curious if i could change the lights on mine. i would want to change my dashboard lights, the lights by the climate controls, my cruise control lights, the window control lights, and the overhead lights. i just really want a change of scenery... can this be done? if so where can i buy the kit if there is one of bulbs?

Well it is a lot more work them just changing a bulb out. The cluster use regular white bulbs. The back of the cluster has a green film on it that would have to be removed to change the color.

That's what i thought so could i just remove the film and replace with led's or would i need to solder stuff?
