Hello, all.
I happened to knick my '95 Ex. tail light, putting about a 3" diameter hole right through the plastic. :banghead:
Obviously eBay or some online auto store would be cheaper than going to a dealer for a replacement light, but I'd probably rather just take it in to the dealer and be done with it, depending on what the price would be.

Any one have any idea of what a new tail light would cost from a dealer?

Too much... Luckily I have a few spare ones since I have a tendency to whack them on a tree when wheeling.. You can probably get one for around $30 on ebay or at a junk yard if you can find one..

Dealer will charge you $100+ that is a given. They are $30-40 on eBay and you can change it out in less than a minute.

Don't be dependant on the dealer!

Definitely do eBay. They show up often usually only one at a time. Get the one you want and be done with it. I recently scored pair off a 99 and looked brand new. $50/pair. They're even cheaper for the 95-97 like you want.

i dont know about the second gen but for my 94 it was 50$ from autozone and its a nicer? lense
