Defender-esque bumper sliders.

Has anyone done a stinger type bumper with tube coming out along the fenders then down to sliders or anything of the sort?

Also does anyone know the purpose of the cables going from the bumper to the rack? I've always liked the look of it.

The cable going from the bumper to the rack prevents branches from hitting the windshield on tight trails. The wires moves the branches up and over or to the side of the vehicle.

I've been thinking of this for the past few days

x2 and then to the rear bumper, however the rear doors may get in the way.

The arb looks nice, but, talk about weight! I bet it's extremely heavy, and I've got plenty of other areas where i could add weight in other mods that would gain me more than a plate bumper that heavy. Looks great, but I'd stick to something simpler...

heck...I've been through 4 cans of touch up paint...it gets used alot!!
