Does anyone know if i can change my manual AC controls to the digital controls? Ive searched and couldnt find any threads on this subject? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

BTW i have a 97 XLT V6 with SOC.

i was wondering the same thing. I think i remember a thread a while back about this, but i couldnt find it when i searched.
 






I thought i saw a thread about it a while back but i havent had any luck finding it either........
Let me know if you find oput anything.
 












hmmmmmmmmmmmmm thats some serious tech there, the HVAC controls are some cables, some vacuum solenoids and the rest is wiring, so you are kinda in uncharted waters.

Best thing to do is research, compare the earleir stuff to the newer stuff :)
May be ALOT of work for LITTLE gain...
 






I think I'll stick to turn my hand left and right. Besides it needs the exersise! :rolleyes:
 






I remember a dude from the Rangers board did the conversion and did a write-up on it.

yea, there was a write up on it a while ago, but i dont have the link. I was gonna do it to my 92, even bought the control head and everything. Then I realized it prob wouldnt work on a first gen and gave up :( so if you need a control head, i got mine for $60, but ill let u have it for $50 (shipping included) just send me a PM if youre interested. It would be good to see pics of the results if you did manage to get it to work.
