Last night I disconnected the battery on my 2005 Explorer XLS and now the OD light is flashing and check transmisson message is displayed. I
disconnected the battery 3 more times for about an hour each time with no change. All of the fuses check out ok and the tranny seems to be shifting properly when in drive. When shifting manually from low 1 it doesn't seem to be going in low. The traction control light has been on for about 20K but I don't think it's related. Any clue??????

I replaced the stock tranny around 35-40K miles ago and it's been shifting fine. I've had some cold start issues with the engine, but that's it.
