How do you get the switches apart? Do you remove the existing LED's?

When you say X3mm, do you just mean, 3mm? I swore a 5mm doesn't fit in the headlight SW, I tried doing that along time ago, and the one I got was too big, so it needed a 3mm. I may be wrong, or they switched it up, I don't know.

The "X" stand for "by" 1 X 5mm means 1 5mm LED 10 X 3mm means 10 3mm LED's. A 5mm will work in the headlight switch, but you have to trim about an 1/8th inch off the end of the pastec holder. If you look in the tip of it, it has that recessed part (about 1/8th") you just trim that flush and a 5mm fits fine.

Man, for some reason I forgot you had to take the door panels off again to release the handle to get the electronics for the switches, hrm, guess I'll do that later this week.

As far as LEDs go, I don't have time (I guess to say) to do the eBay deal, other than massively-overpriced radio shack, where else could I buy in bundles? Your interior looks awesome BTW. :) (rather, where did you get yours?)

I have a question do i have to use one resitor per LED or can i wire all the positive togeter with on resistor.

Thanks
Johnny

I think it is 1 resistor per LED. But it depends on the power of the resistor if I am not mistaking.

DMan, will get back to you on Monday with pictures. I'm extremely sorry about the lack of communication, I've just been REALLY busy. Talk to you then. (If you read this)

that mod looks straight. how did you mount them like that? i have a 92 ranger that i was trying to do something like that. i have seen a lot of the L.E.D. bulb conversions but none that make ur truck look that good.

aldive, as for the wire hookup, I tapped into the wire that runs to the flexible copper mount that original lamp fixtures twisted onto.

And mounting the boards ... just some handy glue-gun work in each of the 4 corners.

did u just pull the wires out with something or.......? u think u can take pictures

Very Nice!! Awesome job! Thats gonna be a must Now!

Can you show a picture how you wired it up? Please

i did this a few weeks ago, all the lights in my car are now blue except for the rear book lights (the ones on the switches) and the vanity mirror lights.

even the light in the glove box is blue lol.

^^ i did that too, with the LED 194's, and there's hardly any light. it looks great, and i love the color of the blue LED's, but its a pain in the ass when you need to read something. haha

i just finished switching all the interior lights of my explorer yesterday. im slowly trying to replace the panel with blue led"s. so far i did the hvac controls.

ONE PROBLEM

for some reason the middle dome light doesn't turn off at all. :s

it did in the beginning but in the end of the day it just wouldnt shut off when when everything is off. any solutions?
