Hanscom is shut down dude, only active duty admin are there (CHAIR FORCE!). Same thing with Westover, but they get reservists working on the Galaxy. And Pease has the in flight refueling reserve squadron. The only really active airforce base in the greater Boston area is Otis since they still have the 16 squadron.
I know i've been gone for..a loooong ass time, but here's a pic of my truck after the accident, and today..only took 3 months to rebuild. replaced everything in front of the engine, including the water pump, bolted the new radiator support onto the firewall(I cut the firewall from the 2nd truck in half to give me room to bolt, original fenders, new hood, put hood bolts to hold it down better than a simple hood latch would. you don't want to see the underside of hte truck..that might be scary. but i'll tell ya, she runs almost as perfect as she did when i first bought her..still runs straight, smooth and quiet. next we'll have to do some serious mods, anyway:
HEy DWI_Explorer, I hit a tree and had the same exact damage, dead center on my explorer. The exact samre bumper wrap, etc. My fram was even bebt, flexed down where the engine bay firewall is, so it was totalled. Idon't think I have any pics online right now, maybe I'llpost some soon. Damn falling asleep at the wheel, I guess beer makes you tired.
Wow man!!!
I remember seeing this thread when you first started it.
I laughed at the idea of you rebuilding that rig.
Guess you get the last laugh.
Nice work!!!!!!!!!!
