Door Opened Too Hard

So my front passenger door was opened to hard and now sits a little forward, only way i know how to fix it is, take to door off and beat the body where the hinges go.
any better suggestions? lol

It all really depends on where the damage is. If the door jam is bent where the hinges bolt up, then you're going to need to address it there like you said. If it's the hinges, then pull 'em off and beat them flat. Don't be afraid of showing the metal who's boss.

Just be calm and patient don't apply your physical strength just to bang. better you check out the hinges, do regular oiling , try get in the problem and check out if its rusted or what, any metal piece is stuck in between .
