Did you order a new "Bumber"? If you got a used one, the brackets would be on it already.

I am taking mine off & throwing in the bottom of a lake this weekend!:D

I got a brush guard to install, and I am getting some materials to build a front "Bumber" with the help of a friend

:exp::shoot:Gregg :censored:

Still laughing about that anyhow.
Got notified from Rockauto that my front end thing-of-ma-gig and brackets have shipped, also recieved the title for the explorer today, so the transfer is complete

Ok, finally got photobucket account set up, the front end metal protective item is due to arrive tomorrow. (don't know if FedEx makes rounds on a Saturday, but will find out). As long as the pony express use healthy horses I should be able to post pics from home base.

Well, FedEx does work on Saturday, after the driver called me for directions I met him at the gate by the road, but it was just an hour or so before dusk, so I just unboxed it and put the front end widget on today after the football game, took the grill off and straightened the bent bracket out the best I could, the paint on the cap does not always match, looked more like ATF. Don't know how old the bottle of paint was either.

Well the plan for this weekend is to put the grill back on and do some work in the interior, change the coil pack, and redo the rock sliders. Got a bottle of touch up paint that was made after FDR was president so that can be done this weekend (weather permitting). Picked up a set of brake pads to go on when I get new rotors. Got some good info thru Gman from Daniel for the ARB compressor part, so that will be ordered soon. Pics are coming.

ARB compressor part is ordered. When it gets here will have to locate the fittings, but that's one more step done.

Still getting there

Well, I am amazed how the design of items are perfectly designed not to fit. Did get some items done, such as the install of off road lights on the bumper and the shifter boot, but things such as the xfer boot, took some mods to get it to fit, and then as soon as I tested the shift, the boot ripped right down the base, that just means it wasn't the correct one anyhow.(not the one I got from B2 while in Mo., this was one I got to match the shifter)
Pics are being a big pain, took close to 15 minutes to download ONE pic to photobucket, and then couldn't get it to post on EF. I will find a way to get pics on the forum, so patenice is gonna have to take place.
Still moving forward and looking to getting there, it will happen.:D

I believe you mean upload. ;) BTW, you may need to change the image upload size to get a faster upload.

Large or medium are your best options. Anything other than that is to small to see or so big it changes the forum page.

To add your pictures:

Move over the picture in your album till a drop box opens up.

1. Select the text next to "IMG Code"
2. Right click and select copy

Open up your post. Right click in the text area and select "paste"

And your done! Hope that helps. :)

Mike, take your camera or flash drive to work where you have a faster connection. Use photobuckets bulk uploader to get them all on at one time. Just minimize that page so know one see's what your doing during the upload :D Then when your back at home, you can connect the links to your thread at your leisure.

:salute:

the next biggest size 800x600 won't mess with 99% of peoples computer screens.

That's true, however it is faster with the lower resolution.

Let me do some checking, I think the fittings are 1/8" British Standard Pipe Thread and the air line is 5mm.

Mike, the air line is 5mm with the fitting for the top of the solenoid ARB #170201
The nipple to connect the soleniod to the air compressor is an 1/8" BSP Male to Male ARB #170501
