I don’t know what’s wrong with it,

I was driving on the freeway and the engine turned off I still had power to my cd player but the steering was gone and brakes wheel locked up.

I had quickly put the truck in neutral and then turned back on; everything seems to be working correctly now but was scary.

Anyone have this same issue

I had a couple of 03 & 04 explorers that had a similar problem. But it was related to the cruise control, if you set the cruise then tried to coast or even pressed the brake the engine would die.

Have you ran a OBD scan diagnostic to see if you are throwing a code?

O.... no i have not it just happend yesterday. but i will have a shop do so.

thanks

Alternator maybe.

Alternator maybe.

He would have received a charging error light and the vehicle would have run until the battery was flat.

I would say a glitch or fuel pump issue.

What are the details of the truck?

I took it in to the shop,

they said that my connection with the battery was the issue,

thank god .... easy fix
