Dyna Beads

two really big question here so this makes the tires feel smooth no matter the speed?
could u just pour in a crap load of pellets (like a few bags) not measured out and it would still work?

Depends. As was said before if the tire or rim is out of round it won't work no matter how much you put in.

Apparently you can put too much in if you go way overboard, but a few ounces too much doesn't seem to matter.

Even if you aren't shaking much its better to measure it in some way. A food scale that measures ounces can be had at wal-mart for 10 bucks or less.

Just wondering if any of you that use these beads have a sound clip of the noise these things make when coming to a stop

The dyna beads (or similar in size) are quiet. These beads are tiny.

The airsoft BB's on the other hand make an audible sound and almost sound like faint air brakes when coming to a stop. The less road noise your tires make, the more your apt to hear them. These are lots bigger in size then the dyna bead type.

It would be really hard to hear...I doubt anything I record it with would pick it up. I can only hear it on my truck with the windows down, radio off, and actively listening for it. Even then it's just a very quiet "sshhh" noise for just a second.

ok. i am just picky with things and dont want the looks from people when coming to a stop a cant stand my car making anykinda noise that is out of the ordinary

Install some drilled rotors, that will mask any noise from the beads.

Or use Equal powder balancer. Toss in a packet or two, done!

No noise at all.

i was thinking about using equal but there are drawbacks to using it if i get any moisture in the tire it will turn the powder into a brick as i dont trust shops that dont have a water catcher on there air supply. i may have to try the airsoft bb's, my bf goodrich at/ko's on DC-1s have been a pain ever since i put them on they wear like crap and ride rougher than the mtrs i had on the stock rims
