"As part of our dedication to building the highest performance automobiles, Extreme Motorsports has invested in the areas only AWD Dynojet chassis dynamometer. The dynamometer, or more commonly called “dyno” mounts into the floor and is an inertia style dyno. The vehicle is driven up on the rollers and strapped down for a "run." On a run, the vehicle is accelerated through a selected gear (typically third) and the dyno measures the engine and vehicle speed and acceleration, computing a horsepower and torque curve on an attached computer. Curious about what we have seen? How about 1000+ horsepower 4 and 6-cylinder cars, 1000+ ft.lb. of torque diesels, and high revving 8-cylinder V8’s--- all with a common goal: repeatability, reliability, and understanding of what has and has not worked.
Additionally, with every dyno run we keep it on file for future comparison and we also provide access to our wide band air fuel ratio meter (which can also be printed out on the graph) at no extra charge. To make the experience even better, we can e-mail you your files and once you download the Dynojet Run Viewer from their website you will be able to view and compare your runs at home.
The dyno can handle over 1200 HP and 1200 ft-lbs of torque at the wheels and speeds up to 200 MPH."
