"t he" has been changed to "pizza"
"tir e" is now "donut"
and a few oth er words have been changed.

somebody was hungry this morning.

I personally bought the E3 plugs to when I was just getting into my engine and also saw the dyno test on horsepower tv so I figured why not try them, and I will never buy them again there a load of crap in my eyes. I put them in and started it up and my x would not idle below 2000 rpm's. I ended up taking them back to the parts store and told them to shove em up there butt and give me autolites which actually work.

I have the E3 plugs in my 4.0 sohc and have seen a increase in my fuel economy of about 2.5 to 3 mpg does the truck feel faster maybe but the motor does feel like it runs smoother across the whole rpm range. so to me the plugs were a good investment. i also have the E3 plug in my lawn mower, snow blower. and pressure washer and get about 10 additional minutes of run time and they also run cooler too so again worth the investment

how old were the plugs you replaced?

the plugs in the truck had about 10,000 miles on them and the plugs in my small engines were from the previous season. i got them on the recommendation from a friend of mine who races go carts and has a nicely built 87 el camino and he swears by them and he also said if i dont like them he would buy me new set of plugs of my choice

sounds to me like you got bigger issues than plugs....

its not that it ran like crap or anything i did notice an increase with power but I just didn't like the fact that it idled so high.

I have a set of Autolites in my 4.0 right now that only have about 600 or so miles on them and my rig ran great (minus the part at the end where my trans blew up). As soon as I finish with this swap, I will drive with the Autolites for a couple of weeks, then I will buy a set of E3s' and let you guys know if anything interesting happens.
