electrical disconnect

I have a 1997 XLT and wanting to replace the left side passenger & driver door because of a wreck. (I got it this way)
how do I disconnect the wiring harness from the door. I'm replacing it with a 1997 Merc Mountainair, the only thing I could find in my area.
I replaced the front driver side door from the same vehicle.
any help is appreciated.

Remove the plastic kick panel and look up in there, this is where the door wiring harness connects to the truck with one big plug

The rubber boot just presses out of its hole

Take a look at your new 97 mounty doors the wiring should be the same and will show you the connectors
