Ok short version of the story, I have a 95, wanted to drop the 302 in it, had some issues with motor/tranny with the 95, found this 97 with 302 in it with only 149k. Guy told me only needed hood/fender. I hauled ass 2 hours and found it needed more but after the test drive I was hooked. So basically im taking everything I need for body panels off the 95 to swap onto the 97.

Here it is when I got it

started dinging into it found out the header panel is spent

all stripped down, bent the friggin bumper mount on the frame too, gonna grind the spot welds off that and use one from 95

Was raining all day didnt get a chance to swap parts today so I built an intake

Gutted the interior, Im swapping the full gray interior from my 95 into the 97.

And I also added a B&M Super Cooler as a secondary cooler to the rig.

I believe your brake switch could benefit from the recall, dont want to burn down your new 97!!!

Nice project, looks very familiar to me, something about making one good truck from two :)
