engine and transmission... yeah the miles are high, but some parts a zero to low miles.
low mileage stuff
heads- 0 miles
pacesetter headers- 0 miles
clutch 25k miles
I installed new heads and related parts, tossed on some headers, just cause fired it up and saw oil pouring out the exhaust, so quickly that it tripped the low oil light. I shut it down, and haven't messed with it.
I want to go the v8 swap route....
prices what I would LIKE to see.... but am realistic
Engine $400 (your buying the heads and getting a free shortblock).... I'm already taking a loss on the heads
Transmission $200-- high miles, but works good, fluid has 25k miles on it, minor leaking at tailshaft
Headers- $150--pacesetter has y-pipe, 0 miles driven, scuffed and painted with high temp exhaust paint
I paid $638 for the heads, $200 for headers, then there's the nit-picky crap of paint, head bolts, gaskets...etc
Stuff is still in the truck, can hear run if needed....
LOCATION southern Oklahoma-- town is Eufaula (you-fall-uh) which is an hour or so south of Tulsa, 3 hrs north of Dallas, 1hr from Ft. Smith, AR and 2 hrs from Oklahoma City.
