Engine swap: v6 to v8

Im considering doing this job.... if i found a donor explorer the same year as mine, it wouldnt cost me any more money then the actual donor does correct? Becides misc gaskets that i would obviously replace. Am i missing something here?

Already have enough tools and have lots of beer. So it looks like my money is going towards the donor truck and pizza!

That's what I was thinkin too. I've been thinkin about swappin the guts out of a 96 4 door V-8 into my 96 Sport. Engine, tranny, rear leafs, etc...
How much of the wiring harness would have to change? Aren't things pretty much the same except for the location of individual parts? It's either that or put a new 4.0L in and add a s/c...
