Ever seen one of these driving?

Anyone around Boston, if you wanna see any of those ^^^ trucks or a variety of nice cars, come to Mt. Blue in Norwell, MA. Its a restaurant owned by a few of the Aerosmith guys. I'm a pizza-deliverer for the "Mt. Blue Pizza" part and get to see Joe Kramers new SL55, his ferraris and Steven Tyler shows up in his cars a few nights a week. Ppl come from all over to go to this restaurant and they bring their sunday cruisers, guaranteed...

Now if only there was something like that in my area! I haven't seen a Cayenne (they out yet?) and don't see much of any expensive SUV's except for the Navs, Escalades, things around those lines.

The PA Rally that we were involved with had a Hummer as one of the entries, and it's support vehicle was a G-Wagon. Not too bad, but I don't think I'll be buying one soon. Rather spend that kind of $$$ on other things.....

The official US release date was March 15th. I was invited to the Atlanta release party but was unable to attend :(

My uncle just got his SL 55 a sew weeks ago. Man is that thing sweet! So much better than what was available a few years ago.

They're everywhere in NY.

I think they're too damn boxy. Just plain SQUARE!

Oh don't be so shallow! :p

...it's what;s on the inside that counts! :D

:D

Something about that truck reminds me of the cardboard box car commercial!:D

YES! The Cayennes are out... I've seen two to date. One was a customer at the restaurant I was talking about, and the other one was the Cayenne turbo... I "raced" it on my way up to Waterville Valley a few weekends back at a little past midnight. Well, all in all it wasn't a race... i couldn't believe i even saw it when it closed on me VERY quickly even though my cruise control was set at 100 even. I hit a little past 115 on the speedo and he flew by me like... well... only a Porsche could.

Isn't the Turbo the fastest stock SUV? I know the bimmers are quick, and thought I saw some Mercedes Brabus M-V12 SUV that goes 205... but Brabus probably can't be considered stock. Don't the Cayennes go like 160?

Those G-wagons are replacing Canada's "Iltis" Jeep type army vehicle. The bad part is, they are replacing every 2 of the old vehicles with 1 new G-wagon :(

the two door looks like
a cross between a Land Rover and Suzuki Sidekick, with an expensive trim option

I let you know;) . My moms friend just took delivery about a month ago for his Cayenne Turbo, haven't been in it yet but he might be comming over tomorow. He also has a highly modded Ruf 996 Turbo pushing well over 700hp.....I was with him when he took it up to 210-215mph on I-95 with me in it:eek: ..had to use GPS b/c when the car was shipped back the gauges weren't working correctly .....unbelievable how stable that car is. He wants to send his Cayenne to Gemballa (they modify Porsches like Ruf, TechArt etc..) as they have a package for the Cayenne S and Turbo thats very nice. But he wants to wait for the stuff Ruf is comming out with for the Cayenne to match his Ruf 996.

As for the G wagons, there all over here.....except there all pretty much driven by teens. Theirs a girl at my college with a new G55, I'm not friends with her though, don't think I want to be with her front license plate saying "Boca Princess"....thats how bad it is here.

But anywayz, there very capable trucks, IMO they are the most capable offroad SUV's made to day. I have seen pics of them and videos of them offroad, amazing, they have no problem making the Range/Land Rovers look sorry. Imagine an lifted S-Class w/ live axles and front, center, and rear locking diffs:D

Your Explorer cruises at 100? Mine gets unhappy past 85!

Yeah its an indicated 100 so probly 95ish and you can't cruise for long since you can basically watch the gas guage go down at that speed. In NH at around midnight the roads get veeery long and straight and smooth :p MUCH better than any road I've ever seen in MA. Plus at 100 the tach is around 4 and i feel bad doing that to the car for too long. Just enough to make the trip considerable shorter time-wise... usually I cruise at about 80.

kid 'round here has a brand new g-wagon, with those spinnin davin black rims, probably cost more than my truck!!! my systems louder than his though!!!

It only cost 16 times what your Samuari cost too lol.

Ugh god, I just saw those spinning wheels for the first time the other day on the Beltway, they were on a Navigator.

Talk about garish.

The G-wagon is a cool car! granted it drives like a sherman tank and the body style hasn't been changed since the 1980's (maybe even '70's). I think it's cool how there are wagons and convertables avail. as well. I like it, i know a 17 year old who has a new Galendawagon as a beater. yes that's right, a beater. his other car is a Porsche GT-2.
