While I was growing up my neighbor had a light blue one. I remember him being quite upset when he couldn't find a new one to replace his old one.

I remember those for sure, I was born in 73 but I always loved the VW's in Colorado and So Cal there were ALOT of different VW's, half my high schoool class drove bugs, tghia's, things, notchbacks, square backs, busses and of course the early rabbits even a sciracco or two

that 411 looks alot like an early volvo

I missed the VW air cooled thing, my first car was a 1976 bmw 2002 tii
horse hair stuffed seats= fire hazzard!

bug heaters would melt your shoes!

I think my friend has one of those, he has been collecting exotic cars since high school, he has had several Kharman Ghias, even an original convertible, and a weird one which I beleive is like the one on the first post, but light blue, he also wanted to buy another VW from a friend's brother, but he wouldn't sell, I never saw that car but they said it was a rare model
