Thats not very far from my apartment. Let me know if I can be of any help. My tools are only an hour away!

Karol, its probably a bad hub assembly.. Typical Explorer issue, I'm sure Adam or Todd can help out since they are all out in the Johnstown area. Hell give me the title to the truck and I'll fix it :D

Time?

Wow that is a hot lookin ride. One question...does any one know what the estimated time of completion to do a 4" superlift in the front and a SOA in rear. i only ask because in about a month in a half my x is going under the wrench and all of my buddies and i are going to try and make it a weekend project/party. Do you guys think this is a feasible? my buddies are pretty bad ass mechanics/fabricators...

It can easily be done in a weekend with the right tools. I've done several since I put the one in this thread together and it's not that bad a job (now that I've done it a couple of times :D )

sweet that's exactly what i needed to know. Each day it gets closer and closer to its growth spert. Is there anything out of the ordinary tool wise that i should consider buying? (one of my buddies has been working on funny car circut since he was 16 so he has an arsonal of tools)

It's all bolt up. Air tools and a ball joint tool will help though...:cool:

You may have the title to the explorer now. It's just a burnt out shell.
Out of the goodness of my heart I gave my explorer to my son. Well, needless to say, my son won't be coming home till graduation because he is so scared of me wringing his neck. Thank god he wasn't killed. But , novice as he is, he tried going to a strip mine (in the dark ) and tried to do a hillclimb. (not sure if he even engaged the locker)... it rolled once with him in it, was teetering and he jumped out , afraid it was going to roll again (which it did- many times) it rolled 5-6 times more and landed on the roof and burst into flames. Yep when my son f*cks up, he f*cks up bad. 2 Firetrucks had to come out. Practically nothing salvagagable. So there you go scrap metal.

:roll::dead::crazy::censored::censored:

Oh no man that just sucks. Glad your son was ok tho

wtf.. :fire: :( :dead:

Atleast he's okay.

wow, you sure that wasn't his April fools joke on you?

So a roll, time for him to get out, 5-6 more rolls and fire. Sounds like an episode of CHIPS. Glad to hear he's okay.

Sorry to hear that. :( Glad to hear he is ok though.

Any idea where it happened? Know the location of the truck now?

thats ****ty.. i loved your truck :(

That boy's been on more than enough wheeling trips to know better than to go wheeling at night, alone, in a place he's never been! Bummer about the truck, Karol :(
