Alright there finally here. I cam home form class today to find two James Duff boxes on my porch. I'm excited to put them on, but I have to go to work tonight so I can't start until tomorrow. They seem so heavy duty. And are so much longer then I thought they would be. I can't wait to feel the difference in flex, and handling. Thanks for sharing my excitment with me. Ill post on how the install went and how they feel.

Good luck, you are going to like them! When I installed mine on my '96 Ranger the tranny x member was a very tight fit, actually the whole kit is very precise. When I re-installed th same kit on my '92x it went in easily.

Updates...?

Any updates & photos with the new RA's installed?

Please describe the difference in ride, handling, and flex with the new arms. Do you think the extended RA's were worth the cost?

I have read many times that extended RA's with heim joints, due to the metal/metal fit, ride much harsher than an extended RA's with bushings. Makes sense to me, but how dramatic is the difference from stock? Do bumps at speed feel harsher - things like freeway expansion joints? If you were to choose again, would you still go with Duff?

Thanks for your input!

I love them a lot. The flex is much better. In fact i ripped out a brake line the other day because I didn't know it would flex as much. The ride smoothed out a ton, but I can't compare it to the bushing style arms because I have never rode in a truck with them. I'm very impressed with duff. I will post pics soon as I go on my next wheeling trip. This week sometime.

i'm interested in seeing the pics myself...

Pics

Alright I finally went out to the trail for a little while and heres how it went. Heres the pics if I can get it to work.
I'm pretty impressed with the new amount of flex. Its now limited by the stiff superlift coils and the relativly short shocks. I plan on doing a few more things to help with this. :)

I didn't have to grind anything, but I was sure thinking about it. Everything just barely fit. It was about perfect. I was really impressed. they ride well too.
