sord of

the factory switch only sends a ground to the factory relay, the switch does not have the power for the lights going through it. so YES its fine, but you will need to use 100W relays for the lights, since the factory fogs are 55w each.

just last week I installed aftermarket fog lights using the factory switch and relay, I found all the wiring info I needed on this site, even the instructions for making them work with the parking lamps, low and high beams, it was super easy. Just try a search, bit dont count on the factory relay to handle 200 watts

Did your lights come with a relay & wiring harness?
If they did, you can use the factory wiring/switch to turn on the relay/lights.
If they didnt, you will have to make a harness.
Either way we can walk you thru the set-up.

FYI

If you do want a second switch, for a second set of lights, autozone sella a nice little round switch, with choice of indicator color, that will snap flush into cigarette lighter hole.
I also have a second set of fogs, wired thru relays to the factory switch.

I used a relay for each secondary light (155W) which are triggered by the high beam circuit.
Since relays have 20 amp capacity, this is safe.

200 watts on one 20A relay is borderline IMO.

ok, heres the thing with my fog lights. the wires have been cut under the hood some where along with alot of other things. and i cant find the other end of the wiring witch they cut . the owner of this explorer before i bought it trashed it and tryed to get the insurance money. i'll take some pics of the wiring that this person cut. i'm not sure what are what..... thats why i was wondering if it would be aright to wire them right to the switch but i guess you cant do that.

Save youself some time, and just rewire with new relays.
