factory sub box questions

hey everyone. i was wondering if i bought a factory sub unit, (that has the sub, amp, and enclosure for the premium sound systems) could i modify it to fit a 10" sub instead? if so would the sound be completely horrible with the low cubic feet of the enclosure? thanks everyone!

You can add a real sub (8, 10, 12 or 15") for less than 200, 300 for an even better setup

10 would be pushin it but you could definitly do an 8" the speaker that comes in it is 6.5" you could also replace it with an aftermarket 6.5"
