Fiberglass Front Fenders mounted

Brake cleaner works good AHHA but dont use too much of it haha

Actually i remember something i used to do, its what we do to clean the bottom of the boat. Back in the day (ok 2 years ago) when the area of charlotte i live in was still the country, i could drive my truck into a shallow part of the lake, right on a lil beach. And i would get in my bathing suit, and use handfuls of sand to scrub down all the mud and crap caked up under there. EASY clean up. hehe i'd get in trouble for doing that now, but that sand would get it PERFECT!

It will look like a huge set of nostrils coming down the road. But I like it

$80 shipping? Man they wanted over $400 to ship my fiberglass fenders.

email from these guys :
The F-150 and Explorer take the same hood. So pretty good chance we could get you fixed up with one.
Thanks and let us know
me : are you sure on that?
response:
Yes I am positive, our bumper covers also fit the Explorer and F-150, you can look at our website Customer Rides page and Ford page and see many Explorers and F-150's and the hoods are the same. The Super Duty and Expedition also take the same hood. No discounts sorry we are already way below everyone elses price for these type of hoods. Email back after hunting season for a shipping price because they change weekly with the cost of Diesel and gas. Thanks

410 where you get your fiberglass from my shipping was only 50 from CA to North Carolina from perry's - military discount included in the over all price of them

nice.. thats one way to ship. and thats what i said WTF???!?!?

it just worked out, such is the life of my BII, a couple times along the build I have been in the right place at the right time.

The day before I was stabbing my new 4.0L OHV (converted from 2.9L) a guy posted a set of JBA headers for sale on this board for $150, guess what he was 50 miles from me.

Then I contacted Autofab about his fenders (had 33's and rubbing now), then shipping killed the deal. Just happens his wife was driving to CO, 30 miles from me, the next week to visit family.

must be nice.

No you see those are two examples of when things went my way, hahaha

The only original parts left on my truck are the fan shroud and dash, basically.
So you can see I have had my share of "issues" as well....waiting on parts, paying too much, getting the wrong ones, etc etc...
