Shipping is what gets ya on fiberglass body parts :(

The Glassworks 4.5s are still flared out the same as the 6" except they're not as square on top. If you look at the pictures that Big Dave posted you can see that it still covers the tire but doesn't come out all the way at the top. I know he makes a 3" pull for ranger butnot Explorers. The Ranger glass would fit too just have different body lines.

I'm curious to see how the 3" pull ebay fenders look. The one in the picture is a 6". Not a bad deal though if they look good.

ahhhhhh I love my Autofab glass :)
I got lucky with that deal! $0 shipping.

back on topic for a minute :

started on the fender fit today. i am happy with the drivers side and so-so with the passenger side.. so i started redoing the old trim that goes along the bottom of the fender / splash guard thing. if i can find the camera i'll post pictures.

god that gap is huge on the passenger side. hahaha mine is like that too... damm fiberglass..

have start on the passenger side today. i took about 3 inches out of it not bad. and changed the angle to match the new fender.

hmmmm I like that, I am going to try to keep my factory steps when I put my front glass on. Only bad part is I dont have a little peice like you, its a whole step.

that makes its a little harder to do then but worth it

I dont like it, but thats just me. Kinda defeats the purpose, no?
That sucker would get ripped off ont eh trail pretty quickly.

Looks good though, the mouting and work you are doing.
The door gap on the glass is the reason why I re-hung and shimmed the doors.....

well i'll see i plan on possibly having sliders made for it. the wife thinks i should nix the rear fenders and just do the front ones....

the plan for it is to finish those trim piece up then do custom fiberglass and pool / pond liner fender wells and inner fender door thingy.. but i may cut the bottom off of it and make it smooth out to the edge... something like
2036219_23_full.jpg

same trim but nothing to catch on the trails something along these lines.. but after i find out how these preform on the trails i got about 8 hours a peice into each one right now...

410 i'll be posting next week on the fender liners for you.. (hint aluminum foil is used) i'll try and do a complete write of them if i can get everything done by then.

You should see my fender liners :)
Have you ever used a plastic welder? They are *****in.

I started with F-150 inner fenders, this is one of my current projects, still perfecting.
My stock BII fender skirts are still in place, up to the frame. The new peices protect the door hinges and the back side of the headlight bezel panel. I dont like snow in my door hinges, and the cold air that comes through SUCKS, otherwise I would have just left them off...

how about a peak at them.. i have mine plan but it do hurt to get more ideas

looks good... makes me want to buy some. and whats the point of painting? the fenders and your truck are both white and if you take it wheeling(and i'm guessing you are) then it'll just get scratched up anyway. nice work tho. i really really want some now.
