Hi Explorer Guys!

After searching the web for hours, I have finally found a decent site to use as a resource for my new 2001 Explorer Sport! I really appreciate what you're doing here.

I'd also like to say that I appreciated the "advice for 16 year olds." I'm actually 18, but it gave my parents a chuckle. I never thought I'd see such a sound combination of college and financial advice on a car page.

I've never really had my own vehicle to modify before - even now I'm only leasing. I still hope to take advantage of some of your information though, especially on Lights and Sound.

Thanks again for providing me some great reading material~

if torque is a real question...

1 : a force that produces or tends to produce rotation or torsion <an automobile engine delivers torque to the drive shaft>; also : a measure of the effectiveness of such a force that consists of the product of the force and the perpendicular distance from the line of action of the force to the axis of rotation
2 : a turning or twisting force

also welcome to the site.

Welcome......I've found that this board has allowed me to not only save money from fixing my explorer...but has also cost me money from upgrading my explorer. We all must warn you, once you start to upgrade your explorer...you won't be able to stop.

WELCOME!!!!!!

Welcome to the site Justin! I've always been fond of the "Advice for 16 year ods" page. I have referred to it many a times. It's good advice, but unfortunately, once you get one this site and catch the bug, it's hard advice to swallow! Glad to see you've join us here, welcome and happy posting!
