First Gen Ex 2WD front suspension ?

Can anyone tell me does the 2WD first gen explorers have torsion bars ?
I'm wanting to convert one of my first gen 4WD explorers to a 2WD front suspension, but I'm having a hard time finding info on the 2WD explorers and having a hard time finding a 2wd at any of my local wrecking yards for parts....
If anyone has any pics of the 2WD front suspension on a first gen explorer can you please post them ? Thank you

All 1st gens have the TTB suspension.

Torsion bars are on 2nd gens '95-'01 (4door) and up to '03 Sport (2 door).

Can you tell me are the I-beams the same lengths ? I read somewhere that the only difference is the passenger side.
Are the Ranger front suspensions interchangeable are a direct bolt-on ?

The beams are not equal lengths. Not sure what you mean by the only difference is the passenger side.

I don't remember exactly, but I don't think it's a straight swap. I know the cross members are different from 2WD to 4WD.
What's the reason you want your 4WD to be 2WD?

I have two 1991 4WD eddie bauers and I wanted to turn one into a lowered street vehicle ( stereo competition vehicle ) I also plan on doing a V8 5.0 conversion in the future...

The 2WD passenger side beam mount is different (if that's what you were talking about being different), and the radius arms are different as well. They don't mount to the beams the same from 2WD to 4WD.

Another thread on our forum says there are enough differences that you can't take the Ranger bracket and use it on the Explorer.

Yes, the Navajo is a re-badged Explorer.

Ok I have read many different threads on this subject, but there are a lot of mixed answers as to which beam pivot mount is different on the 2WD and 4WD explorers.
