First trip to drag strip

actually i ran a 16.94 but that it was with a full tank of gas and my subs and amps in also. i think it might be our track, because mounty99 ran around the same times at the same track with close to the same mods.

Oh I forgot to give you all the updates on my quarter mile times. I know I said that it should go about 15.9 or so. I ran it a few months ago and got my real time of 15.8 @ 85 mph. I Not bad for an suv I guess.

OHV V-6 ... Soon to have 125 Shot of the giggle gas and other doodads ...

Is that on stock internals??? 75 shot I would think would be ok for an ohv but a 125 shot will be pushing it. More like shoving it. lol. But I have no idea what your truck has or what you got planned. Thanks for the props on the times. That was with my 20 inch rims on it too. lol. Would have run about .15 quicker or so without them heavyass rims.

Sorry man I wish I could supply ya with more pics and more track times. But I am about 10,000 miles away from my truck right now and wont see it for the next 22 months. (deployed overseas). But if you havent tried my cardomain site out then you can go there under my www button. However, if anyone wants to see my Mercedes then I can take some pic of it. Because that is my vehicle I have over here. I still havent decided if I want to actually buy rims and tires for it or not. I got the money to right now. BUt being that I wont be able to take it back the the states and will have to sell it when my tour is up here I dont know if I should put that money into it for the next months just to make it harder to get that much more money out of it whe I leave. I still havent made my mind up yet. All in all it should only coasts about close to $1,000 to have a nice rim tire setup on the benz.

WOW, I never knew you wer in the service ... Must be hard leaving everything behind for such a long time! Well Id say dont work on the benz ... and put the money into the Explorer when you get back!

Yeah I know what ya mean! But my problem is that I want to mod every vehicle I come into contact with. I just need to keep my resolution and keep saving money like I have been doing and stop going out to the clubs and bars soooo often. Maybe get me a sugar-momma or two. Have them support me.
